Meet "Z"
Z TEK Revolution started as a passion of a young tech genius Ziyad Tahir, who loves the world of computers and technology and wants to see everyone have access and also embrace the power of feeling connected to the world. Ziyad or “Z” has been a technology afficionado since his youth. His ability to grasp extremely complex technological knowhow has truly left everyone in awe of his simplistic approach to operations, engineering and troubleshooting. Soon he became the “fix-it guy” for anyone with a tech issue. His goal to assist the elderly started when his grandparents bought their first computer and smartphones, and soon became victim to not only crashing their computer several times, but also were unable to fully navigate through the complexities of buttons and features with their devices. This led them to drop using the technology all together. He quickly saw their excitement for the technology turn to fear and disenchantment with the items, to feeling extremely isolated and cut off from everyone. They were also not interested in standing in long lines at their local tech retailers for help. He realized that simple, home-based instructions, communications and step by step demonstration made his grandparents feel more at ease and start to pick up the use of technology once again. Now his grandmother not only keeps up regularly with her grandkids, but also is a powerhouse of new information and intrigue that has really elevated her quality of life. Of course, as the technology continues to advance, she just calls “Z”! “Z” realized that if he could provide this instruction for the many that he helped, then he can bring this inspiration and know-how to the many elderly and disenfranchised individuals that have been left out of this new technical world. To get people to experience the power of knowledge and connectivity, “Z” realized it would take a revolution of bringing confidence and intrigue to these communities. The R-EVOL-ution is the LOVE for technology which is what he hopes to inspire in all his clients!
